Mega Acedol Semi Tablets are a prescription analgesic used to treat moderate to severe acute and chronic pain. The tablets contain a combination of acetaminophen 162.5 mg and tramadol hydrochloride 18.75 mg, which work together to relieve pain by acting on both central pain pathways and general pain-relief mechanisms. The medicine is recommended for patients aged 12 years and older, and the dosage should be adjusted based on the patient’s pain intensity and response to treatment. An initial dose of 4 tablets may be taken, with at least 6 hours between doses, and the maximum daily dose should not exceed 16 tablets. The medication should be used at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible duration, and long-term use requires medical monitoring. It has a shelf life of 36 months, should be stored in an airtight container at 1–30 °C, and is typically packaged in bottles of 30 or 300 tablets.
